Hot Springs: Soaking at night!

Both Glenwood Hot Springs and Iron Mountain Hot Springs are open until 10 p.m. Evenings are some of the best times to soak in the mineral springs. The soothing geothermal water will relax both your mind and your body to help ensure a blissful night’s sleep. When temperatures cool in the fall and winter, steam rising from the water adds a magical touch to a nighttime soaking experience.

Visit and relax at the Caves at night.

The Yampah Spa & Vapor Caves stay open until 9 p.m. The vapor caves in Glenwood Springs are naturally occurring—most others are manmade. After descending a stairway, enter the dimly lit cave rooms where you can relax on white marble benches. Geothermal water creates steam inside the caves for a mineral-rich, detoxifying steam bath. Like hot springs soaking, taking a steam is an ideal pre-sleep activity.

Go Stargazing!

Away from the glare of city lights, spotting constellations and other heavenly bodies is a fun after-hours pastime. Some of the best places for stargazing in Glenwood Springs include a drive up Four Mile Road near Sunlight Mountain Resort and the Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley campus.

Enjoy some Comedy.

Far more fun than going to a movie, the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue will have you laughing all night long. Its two-hour family-friendly show is a riot of skits, jokes and song and dance numbers performed by stage and comedy professionals. Every season, the cast creates new material that keeps audiences coming back for more year after year.
