SKI SUNLIGHT MOUNTAIN RESORT

Glenwood Springs’ very own Sunlight Mountain Resort is one of the best-kept ski resort secrets in Colorado. Fun, friendly, and best of all – affordable! Sunlight is a wintertime winner with families and groups and also offers tons of summertime activities. Tucked away just 10 miles south of Glenwood Springs, or a fifteen-minute drive from downtown, fun is right around the corner!

Over the years, Sunlight Mountain Ski Resort has cultivated a reputation as a family-friendly, affordable skiing and snowboarding destination. An ideal mix that’s comprised of 75 percent beginner and intermediate runs. That’s more than enough terrain to keep most people busy from their opening run to their last turn of the day. Though for the adventure seeker, the resort’s East Ridge with its extreme double-black diamond runs provides added thrills!

Family Friendly Skiing

One of the many reasons families return to Sunlight year after year is because it offers one of the best skiing values anywhere. Lift tickets are affordable and a fraction of what they cost at the mega resorts. Sunlight also continues to offer one of the most successful ski packages of all time. Ski Swim Stay remains a favorite because it is a genuinely good deal. It packages lodging in town, swimming at the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and of course a lift ticket at Sunlight. As an added bonus, if kids are 12 or younger they get to ski for free!!
