This Town Is Made For Walking

From downtown strolls to walking over the pedestrian bridge, taking the paved riverside path to the Meadows, and even the Free Ride Glenwood bus, there are a lot of ways to experience Glenwood Springs without relying on a car. That kind of walkability is rare in a Colorado mountain town and is part of what makes this place so enjoyable to explore. It’s also one of the few mountain getaways where you can realistically skip the car entirely. You can arrive in Glenwood Springs by Amtrak or Bustang, then settle in to your vacation.
